In 1962, John MacGregor started MacGregor Plumbing and Heating in Harbor Springs, Michigan.
In May of 1962, John MacGregor purchased the assets of Harris Plumbing and Heating of Harbor Springs because he believed Northern Michigan needed professionally designed and installed plumbing and heating systems. As a licensed Master Plumber, John and a part-time apprentice set out to do the job right, the first time.
Now, over 40 employees of MacGregor Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning and Duct Cleaning share John’s philosophy and work ethic. The spirit of team work results in satisfied customers. Providing the finest work force and products is standard operating procedure at MacGregor.
The company holds licenses for Master Plumber, Maintenance and Alterations, Boiler installations up to 2,000,000 btu/hr, a Mechanical Contractor’s license and Refrigeration/ Recovery CFC license. Our technicians hold several licenses such as Journeyman Plumber, Ferris State University Technician Certification and factory-trained certification for Bryant and Amana.
