Green

Environmentally Responsible

We are fortunate to live in this area of the country.  Clean air, clear water and people who are dedicated to keeping that way.  As your neighbor and a responsible corporate citizen, we’re doing our part to make our corner the world a cleaner, healthier place to live, work and play.

Everyone has a responsibility to preserve the environment.  That is why we have made an ongoing commitment to the reduction of solid waste materials. Our plumbing, heating, cooling and remodeling business segments have systems in place to recycle, reuse and dispose of business waste.  All construction debris, copper wire and pipes, PVC piping, water heaters, old, inefficient heating and cooling systems, and refrigerants are reprocessed in an environmentally sound and legal manner. We realize the importance of being good environmental stewards, which is the purpose for our dedication to “green” practices.

Green Means Energy Savings To You

In addition, we are committed to finding new products and technologies that are energy efficient and environmentally friendly.  When you call MacGregor you know that you are doing something good for the environment.

Geothermal Is GREEN!

You don’t have to live over a hot spring to take advantage of the energy savings of geothermal heating and cooling systems. Why is geothermal considered green?  Because geothermal uses renewable energy from the earth.  Geothermal systems use the earth’s natural heat-to-heat and even cool your home.

The installation process is relatively simple. MacGregor will run geothermal pipes a few feet below the surface of your lawn to a location where the soil temperature is significantly warmer than the outside temperature.  In the winter, these pipes deliver coolant back and forth transferring warm air to your home. They work in the opposite direction in the summer to cool.

Geothermal  = Renewable.  Green.  MacGregor.
